Pashupati Nath Temple
Located on the bank of the Bagmati River, Pashupati Nath Temple is one of the most famous temples in Nepal dedicated to Lord Shiva and has been a world heritage site since 1979. Present in the form of a cubical shape with four doors opening on all four sides, coated with silver, with a two-story roof made of copper and coated with gold. It depicts the richness of Hindu architecture. Inside the sanctum, a unique four-faced linga known as Chaturmuka is present.

Although the exact origin of this temple is shrouded in mystery, it is believed to exist even before 400 CE. It is spread widely on 246-hectare land and is a collection of 518 mini temples and ashrams. Pashupatinath temple is also considered to be the other half of Kedarnath temple, present in India, and Kedarnath yatra is considered to be incomplete without a visit to Pashupatinath temple. Its attractive tradition, unique architecture, and rich culture make it a must-visit place in Nepal.
Janakpur
Another prominent place in Nepal to visit is Janakpuri, which is believed to be the birthplace of Maa Sita. In addition, this place is also known as the marriage place of Maa Sita and Lord Rama. It is located in the Dhanusha district, which is about 213 km from Kathmandu and lies in the southern part of Nepal. This place got its name from the father of Maa Sita, King Janak. It holds a prominent place in Hindu mythology and is related to the Hindu epic “Ramayana.” Janki temple, Ram Janki temple, and Mithila culture are the main attractions of this area. Janki Temple was constructed at the same place where Maa Sita was born. It is also part of the holy parikrama site, which includes Ayodhya, Kashi, Brij, and Janakpur. Also an integral part of the Ramayana Circuit. Pleasant weather, friendly and welcoming locals, tempting architecture, and strong spiritual vibes make it one of Nepal’s best and favorite tourist destinations.
Sagarmatha National Park

Another prominent place in Nepal is Sagarmatha National Park. It includes multiple ranges with an altitude of 2000 meters to 8848 meters above sea level, including the world’s tallest peak known as Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest). Sagarmatha National Park was established in 1976 and got recognition as a world heritage site in 1979. It’s an adventure heaven and the best place for nature lovers. In addition to this, this area also houses numerous monasteries, which makes it a perfect place for adventure with spirituality. You can climb Mt. Everest, make a spiritual visit to nearby temples and monasteries, or just chill out at some other mountain peak and enjoy the close view of the world’s highest mountain peak.
Boudhanath Temple, Kathmandu
A huge dome painted in white with a long tower coated with gold plating is a symbol of the world-famous Boudhanath Stupa (Chorten Chenpo) of Nepal. The literal meaning of “Chorten Chenpo ” is a great tower or great stupa. The eye depicted in the cordial direction of the stupa signifies the all-knowing nature of Buddha. As per the mythological stories, it is said that this stupa contains the remains of Siddhartha Gautam. It is a huge meditative location built just after the demise of Lord Buddha. It is one of the most prominent pilgrimage sports in Nepal and is located just a distance of 5 km from the city center of Kathmandu, Thamel.
Annapurna Base Camp
One of the most famous trekking spots in Nepal is Annapurna base camp. Located at an altitude of 4130 meters (13549 feet) above sea level, this is an amazing trek. It opens up a way to see the grandest view of the 10th highest peak in the world from the Annapurna base camp. In addition to Annapurna Base Camp, it is also known as Machapuchare Base Camp, as both peaks have bases almost at the same place.
Trails of this trek pass through the Annapurna base camp and could be the most beautiful trekking route of your life, with thousands of flora and fauna found all along the way with an experience of Nepali culture and hospitality. This beautiful trek starts from Pokhara and can be completed in a short duration of 6 to 7 days. This is a special trek, which has almost 7 hanging bridges, with one of them as long as 280 meters. The best time to visit this trek is any time between March and April and October and December.
Manakamana Mata Temple
Last but not least, one of the most famous Manakamana Mata Temple is located about 105 km from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. There is a story behind this temple. Years ago a farmer accidentally hit a stone and suddenly blood and milk started coming out from the stone.

That’s why people built a temple of Mata here. People here consider the stone to be an incarnation of the goddess. People say that wishes made with true faith here are fulfilled. There is a huge crowd of devotees in this temple during Dussehra puja. There is also a tradition of offering sacrifices here during Ashtami Puja. Manakamana temple’s journey gives us to Nepal’s cultural and spiritual values here we can see national and international tourists. near the Manakamana temple, we can see various hotels that serve Nepali food here we have various shops of present although this mandir gives you spiritual values in your life.
